$118 For A Backpack? Now That's Where We Draw The Line

Moms and kids alike are sure to love Serena & Lily’s new puffer backpacks. They’re sporty and colorful and they’re made from durable, water resistant nylon. I love the bright colors and modern design with black zippers. Take a look at the rainbow of shades available:

Okay, but, here’s the punch line. The bags–keep in mind these are backpacks designed for kids–are $118. That’s about what I would spend on a handbag for myself, so seems a little on the pricey side for a children’s school bag, don’t you think? Even if the backpack in question is a super cool backpack that will last even longer than you need it to, I’m going to go ahead and say $118 is too much. (Especially, since your child would be just as happy with one from Target, right?)

What do you think? Would you spend this much on a backpack for your child? Tell us whether you’d spend $118 on a backpack in the comments.

Find the best boys’ backpacks and the best girls’ backpacks in buying guides–and don’t worry, they’re all under $50.
