At happy hour on Friday night I had an embarrassing moment when an adorable blonde actress friend of mine (yes, one who wears everything better than me) turned and flashed her big silver earrings from H&M in my direction, catching the reflection of my very same a-little-too-in-style-hoops. It's just for moments like that one that I'm always on the lookout for unique jewelry and other funky pieces that will separate me from the pack. Lately I'm obsessed with the goodies at Elsewares.com, which is an online shop that carries products by independent artists, designers, and entrepreneurs, which I'd love to support even if their wares weren't so darn cute! Some of my faves:
Melissa Borrell's Pop-Out Pendant Necklace ($36) come in red or silver and is attached to a square of metal that you literally pop the pendant out of, making it a fun and funky piece!
The ultra suede/'leather' Nebula Clutch ($50) is just the right mix of bohemian patchwork and city sass for me.
Ooooh. Edgy. I also love the naughty/nice vibe of Analogous Jewelry's Razorblade Necklace ($110).
See? No need to go elsewheres. They have it at Elsewares.
