We already know that Francisco Costa’s Impulse collection will headline Macy‘s upcoming “Brasil: A Magical Journey” promotion, but now comes even more exciting news: Rachel Roy will also debut her latest collection here. For what already sounds like a really fun campaign, Rachel teamed up with Brazilian singer Seu Jorge, via her lower-priced Rachel Rachel Roy line.
Although it might seem like an unlikely match-up, Rachel explained her reason for pairing up with the Bossa Nova “icon”:
I just vibed with him. Seu is smart and very talented, and when he agreed to work with me, I thought it was the perfect way to introduce a rock star to my Macy’s girls.
The colorful bags, dresses and espadrille booties will be sold in Macy’s O Mercado, a curated shop that opens on April 22, ahead of the Costa launch (May 16). So get yourself to a Macy’s this weekend!
