Ray-Ban Celebrates 75 Years Of Great Shades With A Limited Edition Collection

Ray-Ban has proven beyond a reasonable doubt that their sunglasses are timeless — and now the iconic brand is celebrating their 75th birthday with a limited edition capsule collection of aviator shades. The Ambermatic collection is inspired by Ray-Ban’s first aviator style from 1937 (!) and includes 4 gold-rimmed aviator styles with light-sensitive photochromic yellow lens, which darken depending on light and temperature conditions.

The line, which will retail for $219, includes the classic aviator with or without curved temple tips, the ‘shooter’ silhouette and the ‘outdoorsman’. It hits Sunglass Hut and Henri Bendel in June. In the meantime…
