Ray-Ban just shut down Presidential candidate Sen. Rand Paul from selling their iconic Wayfarer sunglasses on his official campaign site without their consent! We’ve seen brands suing other brands for trademark infringement–but this is a new one!

The senator’s shades, which retailed for $150 on his cyber store and featured the “Rand” logo, were described as “the intersection of politics and cool.” Not “cool” according to Ray-Ban; they sent him a formal request to remove the sunglasses this week. Rand also sells Beats headphones skins, iPhone and Samsung cases, as well as an entire section of “Hillary” products on his e-store, like this Hillary hard drive.
