Recall Alert: Britax Chaperone Infant Car Seat

In case you missed it, the CPSC announced a major car seat recall today. About 23,000 Britax Chaperone infant car seats were recalled due to laceration and choking hazards.

The harness chest clip can break and cause lacerations on a child’s skin. If a child puts the broken clip into his/her mouth, there is also a choking hazard. There have already been 4 reports of broken chest clips.

Here are the models included in this recall: E9L95P2 (Red Mill), E9L95P3, E9L95P5 (Cowmooflage), E9L69N9 (Moonstone).
