There were 2 jogging stroller recalls announced earlier today.

First, Valco Baby recalled about 12,000 Valco Baby Tri Mode Single and Twin Jogging Strollers due to strangulation hazards. There’s an opening between the bar and the bottom of the seat that could cause children to become entrapped if they slide down. If you own one of these strollers, remove the bar immediately and contact Valco Baby at (800) 610-7850 or online at valcobaby.com for a replacement bar. For more info on this recall, visit cpsc.gov.

Tike Tech Single City X3 and X3 Sport Jogging Strollers were also recalled for similar hazards. Children can slide down in the stroller and become entrapped at the neck between the grab bar and the seat. If you own one of these strollers, remove the grab bar and contact Tike Tech at (800) 296-4602 to receive a replacement. For more info on this recall, visit cpsc.gov.
