We all know and love Reformation for being at the forefront of sustainable fashion and they’re not stopping any time soon. Their latest endeavor? Sustainable swimwear.

Made from ECONYL®, a regenerated material that’s made from cleaned, recycled and purified things like fishing nets, fabric scraps, carpet flooring, and industrial plastic from landfills and oceans, Reformation’s new swimwear collection is definitely a game-changer.

Sadly, it’s not entirely perfect. Washing anything made from synthetic material always releases tiny bits of plastic called microfibers into the environment and water. That’s why Reformation is recommending that you always hand wash your swimwear in cold water. If you must wash your swimsuit in a machine, they’re now selling GuppyFriend, a bag that protects synthetic garments and reduces the amount of plastic that enters the water.

Reformation’s new swimwear collection includes 12 cute styles in six prints. Prices start at just $58 and the collection just launched. Head over to to be the first to shop.
