Afraid of the Dark? Light Up the Night with this Cool Nightlight

Have a kid who’s afraid to sleep in the dark? Join the club. My six year-old has enough lamps and nightlights in his room to fill up a page in a lighting catalog. But, hey, he stays in his room the entire night and has a good night’s sleep (most of the time).

One of his nightlights broke recently, so we’ve been looking for a replacement. The frontrunner is this Tykelight Wallmate, and here’s why. It has a nifty photocell sensor, so it automatically turns on in the dark, and the colors change from soft blue, to red and green. Plus, the LED light never gets hot, so I don’t have to worry about his little sister buring her fingers on it. And finally, it’s only $10.
