Selma Blair's Baby Boy May Only Be 6-Weeks-Old, But He's Already Racking Up Frequent Flyer Miles

It’s hard for me to even imagine going to the grocery store or a family function 6 weeks after giving birth, but Selma Blair? Not only did she jet from L.A. to Italy for a film premiere, but she took her infant son with her.

I know it’s part of her job, but I’m wondering how early most other newborns start hitting the high skies? My daughter didn’t ride in an airplane for the first time until she was a year old, but I know people who’ve flown with babies as young as 2 months.

So tell us: when did you fly with your baby for the first time? Any pointers for moms traveling long distances on a plane with a newborn? Leave your advice in the comments.
