Contrary to what you might have thought as a teenager, bikinis do not have to cover as little as possible. Barely-there bikinis are fine if you’re rail thin, but if you’ve got boobs and a butt to think about two pieces strategically placed micro-triangles aren’t going to cut it.

Fortunately, swimwear geniuses like Mara Hoffman, Tori Praver and Rachel Comey were thinking about real women when they designed their bikinis this season. Using RTW trends like the corsets and crop tops as inspiration, there’s a whole slew of bikinis that actually support boobs bigger than an A cup and conceal less than perfect tummies. So yes, even if you aren’t a supermodel, you can totally wear a two-piece this summer! Need proof? Check out our favorite modest bikinis in the slideshow.

Be sure to shop bustier bikinis, black swimsuits and cheap swimwear.
