There has been a lot of talk recently regarding chemicals in cosmetics. This big push to clean up the beauty industry and flush out toxins from products we use on our skin, hair and nails daily, has not gone unnoticed. We’re proud to announce to you that OPIicon, one of our favorite nail polish companies, has finally decided to remove toulene, a toxic chemical frequently used in cosmetics, from its line of polishes. Brands like Goldie Nail Lacquers, No Miss Nail Polish, Maybelline Wet Shine Nail Polish, Sante Nail Polish and Peacekeeper Cause-metics, already avoid chemicals such as dibutyl phthalate (DBP), formaldehyde and toluene.
