SheFinds News: Designer Line to Launch at Lord & Taylor

What: According to WWD, Tuleh’s Bryan Bradley is designing an exclusive collection for department store Lord & Taylor. Charles Nolan and Peter Som are expected to design for them as well.

Why: If nothing else, I’d say that this is a brilliant move by Lord & Taylor, which is long overdue for a makeover. Bryan Bradley’s styles fit with the department store because they combine the perfect amounts of couture with classic cuts. With something a bit younger, hipper and sassier to his looks, hopefully this partnership will infuse Lord & Taylor with some much needed fresh air. Bradley’s Spring 2007 Ready-to-Wear Collection serves up everything from sleek pencil skirts and tuxedo pants to flowing gowns and structured blazers. Each piece focuses on bringing out a woman’s femininity while playing up her strength. Prim and proper, yes, but beautiful and bold? Every bit.

When: His line should be in store early to mid-June.
