We’ve been saying for months that lucite heels are giving us childhood flashbacks to when we fantasized about being Cinderella. Well, it looks like we weren’t the only ones who associated the clear shoe trend with the fairytale, as Stuart Weitzman just announced that not only will he be designing the glass slipper for Broadway’s new production of Cinderella, he’s also releasing a capsule collection of clear heels for us non-princesses. The 5-piece, glass slipper-inspired “Clearly Timeless” collection includes a Swarovski crystal-embedded pump, a peep-toe slingback, a strappy sandal with a lucite heel and two clear jelly flats.
Said Weitzman about the launch:
What is every girl’s first memory of shoes? Cinderella’s glass slipper. Something as simple and accessible as a beautiful shoe can make a woman feel like a princess. Who wouldn’t want to be Cinderella for a night?
The “Clearly Timeless” capsule ranges from $175 to $575 and is available on Stuart Weitzman now. Click through to shop the collection.
