OPI Says 'Peace Out, Sochi' With A Brazil-Themed Collection For Spring
February 24, 2014
Suzi Weiss-Fischmann must be excited for the 2016 summer Olympics, which are being held in Rio de Janeiro, because her latest OPI collection for spring is inspired by “sun-soaked shores, tropical fruits, and lush flora/fauna found throughout the country,” of Brazil. Regardless of whether you’re in to summer sports or not, you’ll appreciate these polishes–from bright red, pink, coral orange and yellow to earthy nude tones and taupe–especially their cheeky names. Our favorites include Taupe-less Beach, a gorgeous taupe, Toucan Do It If You Try, tropical orange, and I Just Can’t Cope-acabana, sunshine yellow. If you’re biased towards gel polish only, they’re offering all 12 of the colors in GelColor formula too. There’s even an exclusive Brazil Beach Sandies 4 Piece Mini Kit ($12.95) that includes four mini ‘liquid sand’ shades, which is the brand’s version of textured glitter polish. Check out the slideshow above to shop the entire range now.
And just in case you missed our post on the best nail art from New York Fashion Week, OPI used several of these awesome new shades to make fun rainbow and cloud nail art for Degen‘s runway show. Even more proof that rainbows are having a moment in fashion (and beauty!) right now.
