Sleeveless Sweaters Aren't Exactly Warm But We Love Them Anyway
November 11, 2014
We may have already suggested to stock up on winter-friendly knits like this faux fur sweater thanks to a certain polar vortex on its way. But for those of you who are lucky enough to avoid freezing temps but still want to feel like winter is coming, then throw on a sleeveless sweater instead. This questionable silhouette actually looks best as a turtleneck, which kind of compensates for its missing sleeves. (It’s all about proportion when it comes to dressing well, doesn’t it?) While this knitted idea sounds like all sorts of wrong on paper then check out our slideshow to actually see how good this sweater style looks. We like them teamed with a tailored pair of trousers or over a pencil or A-line skirt and opaque tights. And if you’re stuck with a polar vortex but still want to have your own sleeveless sweater, then we suggest layering it over a long-sleeve blouse for ultimate coverage.
