Socks OR Sandals, Chloe - You Really Need To Make A Choice

As reported by PeopleStyleWatch, actress Chloe Sevigny attended the Coachella music festival donning beige sandals with black socks. Though I usually love her bold and wacky fashion sensibility, this time even I have to admit that Ms. Sevigny committed an undeniable faux pas. In this get-up she reminds me of my little brother's guitar teacher who

never wears anything other than his 10-year-old Birkenstocks (yes, in

the winter he wears them with socks).

For a vibe that’s a bit less Woodstock, try

going for a pair of this season’s modern hooded sandals.

The look is part bootie, part flip-flop – an entirely acceptable hybrid. This pair of Bahia Jersey Sandals ($68) from Free People looks fashion forward (in a good way) when worn with shorts, or shorter skirts and dresses.
