Wait! Before You Throw Out Those Small Toys, Read This...

Toy Wreath

You know those toys.  The ones you get with a Happy Meal or in line at the checkout stand to hold your kid over for a few more minutes before she completely melts down.

If the toy box is overflowing with them and you don’t have the heart to throw them out or donate them, why not make a toy wreath out of them like the one above.

All you need is a wooden wreath from a craft or dollar store, a hot glue gun, and whole lotta toys.  And as Kate from And Everything Sweet suggests, it might be a good idea to do this when your kid isn’t hovering over you and telling you she wants to play with the toy you’re about to glue down.

P.S. Not very crafty? Save the toys and use them as Christmas tree decorations for next year.
