Music and fashion have always been paired up — but at a friendly distance, like DJ-curated playlists for runway shows or famous musicians-turned-campaign models. Now, it looks like the roles have been reversed with the recent slew of designers trying their hand at over-the-top headphones (think bling, iridescent and graphic designs). Alexander Wang paired up with Beats by Dre for a gold-and-black beautyRebecca Minkoff teamed with Frends for a super-luxe holographic look, while DJ and downtown “it” girl Harley Viera-Newton joined forces with DVF for a kitty-inspired pair. Check out our slideshow for more headphones with a designer label on them.

Don’t forget to check out these gadget stories: UP by Jawbone a tech-inspired sweater, and tech-friendly beanies.
