The Bachelorette uses the same formula each season. However, the show just did something it’s never done before. No, we’re not talking about the two Bachelorette’s facing off against each other, that’s old news! Kaitlyn Bristow, “the funny one,” is this season’s Bachelorette, and now she’s betraying the men who put her in this position.
Remember Nick Viall from Andi Dorfman‘s season of The Bachelorette? Well, he’s back–to compete. He surprised Kaitlyn tonight in New York City and begged for a chance to vie for her heart. She let him enter the competition four weeks in, after the other suitors already had to sumo wrestle and teach Sex Ed to get her attention. Seems unfair, right? Not to mention, we don’t even know what Kaitlyn sees in him! Nick’s the guy who revealed on the After the Rose special that he and Andi “made love” behind the closed doors of the Fantasy Suite (a huge no-no to talk about for Bach nation).
However, it seems that Kaitlyn and Nick connected before she signed on for The Bachelorette. A source tells E!, Nick “really enjoyed her” on The Bachelor. “He liked how she just put everything out there.” So, they connected via social media, started exchanging heated texts, according to Us Weekly, and now, he’s joining the competition–and the other guys are NOT happy about it, especially frontrunners Shawn B. (aka, Calvin Harris/Ryan Gosling), Ben Z. and Chris “Cupcake.” Let’s just hope Kaitlyn follows her heart when it’s all said and done!
