Trying to find something that inspires you every day can be tough. Scratch that. Sometimes it can be nearly impossible.
No matter what line of work you’re in, or how you spend your day-to-day life, finding something inspiring about what you’re doing, or trying to inspire others can be difficult. Trust me, I know.
Throughout college, and since graduating, I have held multiple positions ranging from fashion closet intern to freelance blogger to summer nanny. I was in love with every position I held, which made it easier to find something inspiring about every day, but more disappointing when I didn’t.
I realized that my inspiration for that day could be when my team worked together to finish something and it went flawlessly. It could be if we worked together to finish something and it was the direct opposite of flawless but we worked together to fix it. It could be when the children I was nannying for went to their kindergarten meet-and-greet and sat with their new classmates while their teacher read to them. It could be as small as them trying a new food for the first time.
In order to find something inspiring about every day you have to keep an open mind and realize that it could be large or small but if it inspires you, then why not?
