Stride Rite’s New App Lets You Measure Your Child’s Feet With A Blank Sheet Of Paper

July 28, 2015 by Jeanine Edwards

The only thing more frustrating than trying to get my daughter to focus long enough to try shoes on in the shoe store is guessing what size shoes I should order for her when shopping online. She just turned 7 and it seems like her feet grow every. single. day. Even worse, while she wears a size 1 in some brands, she can also wear a size 3 in others.

But leave it Stride Rite to save the day. They just launched an amazing new (free!) iPad app that lets you accurately measure your child’s foot with a blank sheet of paper. Really. All you have to do is take a picture of your child’s feet against a blank 8.5×11 piece of paper. Upload the photos to the app to get your child’s shoe size and width and then you’re all set to buy Stride Rite shoes from anywhere on the Web or in stores. Amazing, right? And just in time for back-to-school shopping, too!
