Study Says Wearing Red Makes You Look More Attractive: Here's Trying!

We’ve long known that wearing red boosts your mood, but the fiery color can boost your earnings, too. A recent study found that women—more specifically, waitresses—who wore red during their shift, earned markedly better tips from their male customers, largely because the men felt more sexually attracted to them. In a related study, men who were shown photographs of women wearing a red shirt found them more attractive than women wearing other colors.

Unfortunately, this may mean that women are still judged largely on our appearances, but we might as well take advantage of the most influential hue in the spectrum! After all, it is the newest must-have hue for fall. Even if you’re not in the market for some male attention, whether you’re looking to get ahead at work or just trying to sartorially lift your spirits, here’s eight easy ways to rock the power color without stealing the spotlight.
