Sunbow Sunscreen: The Solution for Kids Who Hate Sunscreen
May 16, 2011
Summer is just around the corner, so the next time you’re at the beach and hear a little kid screaming, it could be my son. See, every time I put sunscreen on him, he screams like he’s being tortured. Really… he hates it that much.
So whenever I come across kids’ sunscreen that will make the whole application process easier, I’m game to give it a go. Enter the new Nickelodeon sunscreen products from Sunbow, with SpongeBob and Dora images emblazoned on the bottles. This is one of the few times I’m happy to see SpongeBob, and I’m glad to report that my squirmy kid was actually excited to give it a try.
Aside from the all-important fun factor–the SpongeBob sunscreen goes on yellow and dries clear while Dora goes on pink–this hypoallergenic kids’ sunscreen provides UVA/UVB protection with a water-resistant, Zinc Oxide formula that’s Paba-Free and hypoallergenic. It doesn’t stain clothes and most importantly to my kid, it “doesn’t feel sticky or gooey” once on the skin.
