To quickly get rid of period cramps, find the Union Valley Point on your hand. This acupressure point is located in the fleshy joint between the thumb and index finger on both hands (approximately where the black circle is located in the image below). Simply press down and rub this area in little circles for a few seconds.
According to Modern Reflexology, stimulating this pressure point by applying pressure calms the uterine muscles (which is where you get period cramps). Stimulating this point also aid in treating headaches and abdominal pain.
