The 3 Best Places To Find Supportive (And Cute) Running Shoes. Not An Easy Feat.

We pay a lot of attention to cage booties and $5 Christian Louboutins, but a supportive sneaker to help us get in gear for summer is just as important. Here are three stores that have a great selection of running shoes:

1. Nordstrom

Nordstrom carries athletic shoes for women from Nike, Asics, New Balance, and more. These Reebok ‘RunTone Action’ Running Shoes ($99.95) feature a patented RunTone sole that helps muscle activation to tone, strengthen, and improve endurance.

2. Zappos

If you’re looking for non-boring running shoes, Zappos is your go-to.  They have thousands of options to choose from, and we love the purple color on these Nike Free Run ($85) sneakers. These slip on shoes promote strengthening, injury prevention, and provide the same benefits associated with barefoot training.

3. Endless

Endless is our go-to for great handbags, but they also sell lots of running shoes like this Adidas Women’s Supernova Riot 2 Running Shoe ($82.46) that is perfect for hiking and trail running. The sneaker has trail-specific 3D FORMOTION cushioning, and a protective forefoot cage that keeps feet comfortable and secure, so even if you don’t hike, or run, these shoes seem like a safe bet for all terrains–even a shopping mall.
