During the winter you have a heavy coat and summer you don’t need one. But fall is that unpredictable time in between when you never know what to wear. Some days it’s sunny but cool in the morning, then it hits 65 by lunch and you’re wondering why you wore a jacket to begin with. Other days you wake up and it’s randomly below 50 and you’re like “It’s only October, It’s not supposed to be this cold!”. Basically, you can’t just have one jacket for fall. You need options for days when it’s super cold and then for days you don’t even need a jacket, but want to wear one because you’re over summer dressing. We break down which jackets to wear when in the slideshow below. Click to find out which jackets to wear on cold, warm and all the days in between.
