The Aisle Is Your Runway: Event Guru Jeffrey Marcus Translates 5 Fall Trends To Bridal
August 1, 2011
All the gorgeous colors and textures we’ve seen on the runway this season — from Valentino red to Michael Kors’ lavender — are rife with inspiration for bridal, especially floral bouquets. Having worked with design labels like Chanel and H&M, and on countless chic weddings, Event Designer Jeffrey Marcus is the man for the job. We’re thrilled about the bouquet pairings he made just for us:
Create a dramatic crimson bouquet with Black Magic Roses, Charlotte Red Roses, and Scabiosa flowers. Inspired by Valentino Fall 2011.
Classic, Clean Cream:
A crisp white bouquet begins and ends with Akita Roses. Inspired by Chanel Resort 2012.
Bright, Sunny Yellow:
Use Mimosas, Jonquils, Tulips and Freedom Roses. Inspired Givenchy Fall 2011.
Create a colorblock effect with your favorite pink flowers: Juliet Roses, Sweet Peas and Ranunculus. Inspired by Bottega Veneta Resort 2012.
Lavender, plums, lilac and more: Sweet Peas, Tulips, French Lilac and Begonia Leaves. Inspired by Michael Kors Fall 2011.
