The Best Part About Matching Sets Is That You Get Three Looks From Two Pieces

Matching sets aren’t anything new. Designers like Tory Burch and Milly sent paired shorts and tops down the runway for Spring 2013, while 3.1 Phillip Lim and Tibi did the same with pants. Even celebs like Beyonce have been spotted wearing the trend. But there’s something about a matchy-matchy look that’s just so spring. Maybe it’s the fact that these sets usually come in bright colors and bold patterns. Or maybe it’s because the warmer weather has us more willing to take fashion risks and wear tops and bottoms all in the same print. Either way, we’re pretty into matching sets this season.

Plus, you don’t always have to wear the entire thing together. Part of the phrase “mixing and matching” is to pair the identical items with other non-related ones. So you basically get three looks out of two pieces. Sounds like a win to us. Click the slideshow to shop our favorite matching sets now.
