The Brits Have It All Figured Out: Leggings That Fight Cellulite. Yes!

This morning, the snappy Brits over at the Daily Mail uncovered a new trend in legwear that is sweeping the UK–and hopefully the world soon–which is leggings that actually get rid of your cellulite. Yep, just regular black leggings (they also come in bike shorts) can actually decrease the appearance of cellulite by 12% when worn for 6 hours/day for a 60-day period. So, all that time you’ve logged in Lulemons over the years, could have been spent ridding your thighs of those damn dimples.

According to a “medical” company called Macom, the biocrystal fabric called Emana allows “infrared rays penetrate the skin and increase blood flow” which “reduces build-up of fat and allows lymph glands to expel it efficiently.” Another British company, My Shape UK, is also using the technology. Oh, and the Brits also have Proskins, which makes gold anti-aging compression tights. Seriously, is this why Kate Middleton’s bod is so perfect–even a few weeks after having a baby?! I’m just sayin’…
