The Easiest Hack For Fixing Holes In Your Jeans

I’m a huge fan of distressed jeans. Unfortunately, sometimes the holes are placed in awkward places. I have a great pair of ripped denim shorts from Forever 21. They fit me perfectly except for one little problem: there was a large hole placed so high up on the thigh that you could see my underwear! I have no clue how to sew and I wasn’t going to take a pair of Forever 21 jeans to the tailor. So I got a little crafty and discovered a no-sew way to fix the problem. Check out my hack below:

All you need is a piece of scrap denim and fabric glue. First, I turned the shorts inside out. Then I cut a small piece of scrap fabric to cover the hole.

I traced around the hole using the fabric glue and placed the scrap of denim on top. I let it dry and when I turned the shorts inside out, the hole was patched!

The trick to find scrap denim that matches the color of the jeans. I was lucky enough that I had an old pair of jeans that were almost exactly the same shade as my distressed shorts. I recommend using this fabric glue. It is super strong and holds up, even after washing.
