Chances are you’ve already heard about this spring’s black and white trend. The monochrome palette is sleek and grownup looking. It has a hint of this spring’s sporty trend without being overly athletic. But did you know that it is the most wearable trend, like, ever? Stylist Lilliana Vazquez from the Cheap Chica’s Guide to Style told the Today Show that anyone can pull off this trend. This is because, unlike colorful prints, black and white patterns are easy to style. You don’t have to worry about matching and it’s almost always figure flattering. The stark contrast of black and white can be used to minimize or maximize your curves. The color combo also looks good on all skin tones.

This trend is also easy to do yourself–create your own color block outfit by wearing a black shirt and a crispy white top. The trick is to stick strictly to black and white clothing and accessories–additional colors will give the outfit less of an impact. A completely black and white outfit makes for a graphic, bold look. What do you think of blank and white trend? Click through the slideshow to shop our favorite black and white pieces for spring.
