The Pocketbags From The Fall Runways Are Basically High-Fashion Accordion Folders

We’ve been watching the runways like hawks, and one particular handbag trend has jumped out at us: The pocketbag. Much like what your grandma might call a “pocketbook,” the pocketbag is made to display its multiple compartments – similar to an accordion file. The trend was seen on both Derek Lam and Alexander Wang runways, but to be completely honest, we prefer Derek Lam’s clutch version. Not only does it look less awkward sans handle, but it’s much easier to style. The multiple pockets make it perfect for a night out when you’ve got lots to carry (hairbrush, lipstick, etc). So count us in as on board with this trend. Hey, anything that keeps the chaos in our clutch under control sounds good to us.
