If you love pretty bras as much as I do, you know that once you accumulate more than just a few, it can get hard to find a place to store them. Bralettes and soft cup bras are pretty easy to deal with, since you can just fasten them together and then carefully fold them, but underwires and other more supportive of bras can’t just be shoved into a drawer. And nothing makes me shudder quite like the thought of ruining my favorite T-shirt bras by folding them in half.
Up until recently I hadn’t been able to find a better way to store my bras other than layering them in my underwear drawer and hoping for the best. Luckily, the Internet once again saved the day. I came across an ingenious bra-storing hack that not only saves a ton of space in my drawers, but also protects the shape of my bras so I don’t have to say goodbye to my favorite ones once they’re irreparably damaged from folding.
As it turns out, the best way to store your bras is by hanging them–but not in the way you’d think. For this hack, all you need is a triangle shaped hanger (like this one), preferably a non-slip one. Next, hang the center of your bra–that part that sits in the middle of your chest–over the bottom bar of the hanger, so that one cup falls on either side. Repeat this until the hanger is full, stacking the cups like you would if you were laying them out in a drawer. You can fasten the bras for extra security, or leave them unfastened for easier access. Lastly, hang your new bra hanger in your closet and rejoice for the extra space in your underwear drawer.
