The One Color You Should Never Wear When It's Hot Out (It's Not Black!)

While black tends to get a bad reputation as the color not to wear during summer, it’s definitely not the worst choice you could make. We know, we know, black attracts heat – but when you do inevitably end up sweating, black is forgiving. Have you ever noticed any sweat stains on your black clothing at the end of the day? Exactly.

So what’s the actual color you should never opt for if you have a long, hot subway commute ahead? Contrary to popular belief, it’s gray. While darker colors will hide sweat, any kind of mid or light gray will be completely unforgiving if the dreaded back sweat or heaven forbid, underboob sweat, become a problem. When it’s 90 degrees out, you’re going to sweat either way, so you might as well wear an outfit that will hide it!

As if we needed yet another reason to love wearing black!
