I’ve always been jealous of girls who can change the color of their hair like it’s no big thang. As someone with dark brown hair and skin so fair it’s basically translucent, I don’t think I could ever do more than a couple subtle highlights. Much to my disappointment, I’m no Kylie Jenner.

But color-treated hair is no walk in the park either. A lot of unique responsibilities are bestowed upon the hair-dye enthusiast. Special shampoo, for example.
