We. Love. Trader. Joe’s. With amazing products, customer service, and prices, what isn’t there to love? We could shop for Cookie Butter and Ginger Snaps all day, and chow down on their amazing frozen food options for every meal.

Well, hold on… we did some diggings, and found that there is one thing you actually shouldn’t buy at Trader Joe’s…

Produce. Really? Yes – if you want the most bang for your buck then you should not be buying your fresh produce at Trader Joe’s. Why? TJ’s regular produce have been found to be a little bit more expensive than other stores’ produce. So you might be saving some extra cash by buying your produce elsewhere. Not to mention, Trader Joe’s has come under some harsh criticism for how they package and ship their produce. Environmentalists say that they use too much unnecessary plastic.

So indulge yourself in TJ’s chocolate, cookies, snacks, and sweets – we still love ’em! But maybe think twice before you buy your produce there!
