The One Thing You Should Never Do When Shopping For A New Handbag
March 16, 2016
Gorgeous, durable handbags don’t come cheap — my bank account can confirm. Unless you’re fabulously wealthy, it’s safe to assume that buying a new purse is a painstaking investment.
That being said, it’s important that you don’t take the purse selection process lightly. This is your next prized possession we’re talking about! It’s not an easy decision to make, I know, but it’s a necessary one. If you want to do it right, there are certain things you cannot overlook…
Your #1 priority as a prospective shopper should be practicality. No matter how cute, or how cheap the purse is, make sure it has a shoulder strap! I’m not talking a special occasion clutch, but your everyday go-to. If your new bag doesn’t have a shoulder strap, you’re going to seriously regret it down the line. The hanging-off-the-wrist look is cute and all, but it’s going to annoy you (a lot). You’ll need a free arm every once in a while and you won’t even have the option! Plus, the distribution of weight will be off and your purse will wind up feeling much heavier than it would hanging from your shoulder.
TRUST US, you want a shoulder strap!
