The Skort 2.0 Looks More Like A Napkin Than A Mullet

When we think of skorts, we think of our kid days when they were super cool for girls to wear. It was like you could look really nice and not be afraid of showing your undies or anything, at least that’s what our moms told us. Skorts were the mullet of clothing, you know, all business in the front with the skirt and party in the back with the shorts. But unlike the mullet (at least we hope unlike the mullet), skorts are making a comeback.

It all started when Zara released the napkin skort, or the skort 2.0 as we like to call it. And looks exactly how it sounds. Just imagine taking two napkins, putting the points together, and voila. Then places like Forever 21 and ASOS jumped on the bandwagon, and now it seems like everyone is making napkin skorts! But don’t expect them to be work appropriate, it’s more like a going out kind of outfit if you ask us. If you’re in the market for a skort 2.0, click through the slideshow below too see some of our faves.

What do you think? Are you lovin’ the new napkin skort? Let us know in the comment section below!
