Unless you’re a shut-in that has a personal lackey to do all your grocery shopping for you (in which case, how can we contact them and how much do they charge?), you’ve probably been tempted to leaf through a copy of People, UsWeekly, Life & Style, OK!, or Star magazine while standing in line. Whether or not you indulge in mindless tabloid fodder, it’s hard NOT to notice the splashy covers and punchy headlines, promising the scoop on diet secrets, relationship woes, and pregnancies of the stars.
To sell copies, especially in this age of blogging, you’ve gotta feature someone on the front who is going to make folks pick up the magazine in the first place, and obviously some faces are bigger sellers than others–ie. if you are a Kardashian, you’re probably going to be featured a lot.
