In a reverse of the Isaac Mizrahi goes to Target brand extension idea, J.Crew has teamed-up with Scoop clothing boutique to create a signature line of shirts. Nantucket-meets-downtown describes this unusual partnership. Confused? So were we. The shirts use luxurious soft Italian cotton, but the casual style is unmistakably J.Crew. Bright colors. Expected patterns. Button-down tradition. And they’re made in Malaysia! At $132 each, the shirts fit the Scoop price point, but that’s about it.
