These Dear Kate Leggings Were Designed To Be Worn Without Undies And Yes, They're Amazing

I started running every morning last November and as a result, I’ve made it my mission to keep a top-notch collection of leggings in rotation at all times. I was pleasantly surprised by the Knockout Tights at Victoria’s Secret earlier this year, but my latest leggings obsession are the Dear Kate Nothing Under Yoga Pants.

Now as the name suggests, these leggings are designed to be worn commando, aka without undies. And thank goodness for that! Have you ever gotten sweaty after a run or workout session only have your underwear sticking to you and bunching in all the wrong places? I know I have, which is why I jumped at the chance to put these revolutionary new leggings to the test.

I’ve worn my Dear Kate Nothing Under leggings on three different runs and I can officially say, I love ’em. I’m a stickler for seams and while it may seem like these leggings have a ton–especially around the crotch area–they’re actually one of the most comfortable pair of leggings I’ve ever run in. Rather than riding up in those unmentionable places, the seams on these leggings actually offer support. I can attest to a noticeable boost in the booty area and just the right amount support around the stomach. And no wedgies whatsoever!

Now a few words of caution. I found these leggings to run a bit on the small side. I normally wear a size 2 in pants (26 waist) and the Small was tight. I could get into them, but if I had it to do over again I would definitely get a Medium. Also, the leggings will set you back $105, which is obviously pricey for leggings. But if you plan on wearing them often and/or hate leggings that go sheer after a few washes and offer no support at all, these are definitely worth the investment. Fit and price aside, I give these leggings a solid five out of five stars. If I could afford to have a pair to run in every day, I totally would.
