This 2-Second Trick For De-Wrinkling A Button-Up Shirt Really Works!
November 9, 2016
In a pure and perfect world, we would be able to wake up, open our closets, and select among a variety of shirts, pants, skirts, and dresses. In reality, 90 percent of our button-up shirts are wrinkled at all times and if we haven’t planned accordingly and broke out the iron the night before, there’s zero chance of us prepping our wrinkled shirt before our coffee is ready and still getting to work in time.
Never fear–there is a 2-second trick for de-wrinkling your button-up shirt that requires little to no effort on your part. And it certainly doesn’t involve fumbling with an iron, ironing board, and cup of water at the crack of dawn. Got a towel rack a few inches away from your shower curtain? Perfect. Simply hang up your shirt on a wooden hanger and hang it on the rack or position it as close to your shower as possible. Turn on the hot water and let it run for a minute or two so that your bathroom fills up with steam. Next, adjust your faucet to warm and shower the way you normally would, leaving your shirt adjacent to the shower.
When you finish your morning cleansing and beauty routine, you’ll be pleasantly surprised to see that the wrinkles on your shirt have more or less vanished and without so much as a few seconds of work on your behalf.
If, for some reason, a few stubborn wrinkles have rejected your brilliant plan, try smoothing them out by passing over them once or twice with your straightening iron. Talk about killing two birds with one stone.
