For the past 15 years it seems as though society collectively agreed to relegate all patterns to pillows and other small home décor items, not wanting to relive the terrible floral couch days of the 70s. But as much as we love neutral sofas, ottomans, and headboards, we think it’s time to reconsider printed furniture.

No longer limited to florals, today’s patterned furniture features motifs like ikat, medallion, and Greek key in a variety of hues. These pieces are not only contemporary, but fun! Their very presence would instantly inject a dose of personality into any home. Don’t believe us? Take a look at the slideshow to see our favorite printed furniture pieces. We trust you’ll be daydreaming of how good they’d look in your house!
