There are so many Chipotle cheating guides out there and they are similar, for the most part. However, when I read this article on Apartment List about how to maximize your Chipotle burrito, it made the most sense to me. Dylan Grosz, the mastermind behind the hack, was able to get the average 17-ounce burrito up to 31.6 ounces! How?!
He tested a bunch of different methods against a “control burrito group” and weighed them ingredient by ingredient. Dylan’s Chipotle ordering hack has two key points: 1. getting a burrito bowl and 2. ordering everything half-and-half it’s an option for. Why a burrito bowl? He figured out that it gets you 15% more right from the start.
Once you get the burrito bowl, ask for two tortillas on the side. Then, go on splitting all the ingredients in half. For instance, rice into half white and half brown, beans into half black and half pinto and so on. Dylan says it’s important to ask for a heap of grilled fajita vegetables and corn salsa, which are not typically offered. And that’s about it! You’ll be set with basically two burritos.
