Everyone needs to clean their makeup brushes once a week. I know, that seems way too time consuming. But think about how often the brush, or whatever tool you use, touches your face! Do you really want to risk any health issue just from applying makeup?

That’s exactly what happened to Australian model Anthea Page. She wrote on Instagram that she got a staph infection in her eye from a makeup artist who used dirty brushes.

Here’s how to clean a range of beauty tools, from brushes to sponges and more. And if you don’t like getting in there and scrubbing those brush bristles, this tool makes it real easy and quick for ya!
