First, the bad news:

H&M isn’t the only place destroying unsold clothing — apparently, New York City officials have been doing the same to seized counterfeit items. Hopefully we will see some resolution to this sad trend soon. [New York Times]

Ugg and Jimmy Choo are slated for an unexpected collaboration.  But the sexy, sheepskin stiletto that comes to our minds kind of makes us want to duck and cover. Maybe opposites attract. [Refinery29]

Now, for the good news:

The pics of Sarah Jessica Parker in a white Halston dress on the set of the SATC 2 may be more true to life than just acting. Parker might take a creative designer role at the house. (Swoon.)  [Vogue UK]

Georgina Chapman, the designer behind Marchesa, is set to design a “micro-collection” of cosmetics  in 2011 with Le Métier de Beauté. If it’s anything like her ethereal gowns. [Style.com]

Rachel Zoe finally gets a new assistant, an L.A. stylist, Ashley Avignone, and she is a stylist from Los Angeles. It’s about time–we were getting sick of Taylor’s whining. [Fashionologie]
