Because it’s now impossible for us to go on a weekend trip without six different electronics and their accompanying chargers, wall adapters, headphones and ports, we wanted to find some more gadgets to make Life 2.0 a little easier/cooler/more fun. Check out Better.tv and SheZoom to see SheFindsMichelleM talking about our favorites.
We were totally impressed when HP prettified the everyday laptop. Their collaboration with Vivienne Tam produced this adorable 10” laptop ($700) that weighs less than two pounds and will undoubtedly make you look like the coolest gal at Starbucks. Plug in a Warm Mouse ($30) and you can even grab a seat by the drafty door – it warms up to keep fingers from feeling frozen.
But if you’d rather not commit to a new computer, personalize one of your other gadgets; replace the back of your phone or BlackBerry with a little piece of art by buying a Coveroo ($20). You can choose one of their ready-made patterns, or create one all your own. Same goes for CafePress’s personalized Flip camcorders ($180); check out the SheFinds one they made for us at 1:19 in the video above.
On to your iPod/Phone: eliminate annoying wires that get in your way while running or driving with the Cerulean F1 + TX ($150) or a pair of iMuffs ($150). Both devices let you chat and listen to music wirelessly from a number of yards away. And when you’re traveling somewhere unfamiliar without anything to plug into, just make sure to pack this roll-up mouse pad ($22): it has four USB ports and speakers, and rolls up easily – just stash it in your carry-on.
