First, for the bad news:

Men are becoming more self-conscious with their looks as the years go by, and one expert attributes it to many men’s magazines and their bare-chested covers. Apparently now men are turning to “moob jobs.”  The phrase alone is bad news, we think. What do you think about Spanx for Men? Is it equal opportunity shapewear, or just a disaster?  [Stylelist]

Now, for the good news:

Iconic fashion brands like Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Prada, and Dior, are digging back into their fashion archives for inspiration. The classics we have grown to trust, cherish, and love (from fifties fragrances to leather handbags, that were first issued more than 100 years ago) are set for a revitalization. [WWD]

The Narciso Rodriguez for eBay Capsule Collection is set to launch in T minus13 days. [Stylelist]

Our favorite fall shopping event, “Fashion’s Night Out,” may be transformed into a reality TV show for all of our viewing pleasure. [NY Post]

So long, thong! Cosmo gives a eulogy for the death of the G-string. We much prefer these pairs of underwear that are cute but comfortable. [Huffington Post]
