I went to a press shopping event at The Children’s Place yesterday, and it took a lot of self control not to buy everything in the baby girl section. The dresses, skirts, and tops are all fresh and fashion-forward, and the fabrics, color palette and details make it all look expensive. Think smocked cotton skirts with rosette details, ultra-trendy military jackets, and layered dresses with pops of coral…all for under $30.
Check out my top 5 spring picks below and my little girl above sporting her favorite new outfit.
Military jackets are big this season (Jessica Alba’s daughter is a fan), and this Utility Jacket ($25) is a cute combination of girly and tough. I love the floral print on the cuffs, and the jacket will go with everything in my daughter’s closet.
I adore this Smocked Tiered Dress ($19), but it runs small, so order a size up. My 23-month old is on the small side, but she fits perfectly in the 3T.
The Floral Trim Dress ($18) is cute and comfy–no stiff denim here, and the ruffle trim at the hem gives it a vintage vibe.
The Striped Floral Skirt ($17) looks like something from a high-end designer with its nautical stripes and rosette details.
It’s hard to believe this Printed Eyelet Top is just $11. Pair it with white leggings for a cool, beachy look.
